FIELD TRIP GRAND CANYON BUS TRIP WITH  RUSS MILLER

Join AzOSA on Saturday, June 12th for a full-day bus trip to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, and “Get on the Bus with Russ”!

This exciting trip is packed with learning, fun, and fellowship as we travel with Russ Miller (Founder of Creation, Evolution & Science Ministries) and Jim Clarke, AzOSA’s Resident Geologist.

The trip includes water and snacks on the luxury coach bus, complete with DVD screens, large viewing windows (with sunshades), and an on-board restroom.

From Flagstaff, we travel to Grand Canyon National Park. DVDs will be shown and Jim Clarke will point out geologic features.                                                                                           At Desert View, (the Watchtower area) we will stop for lunch.  Buy lunch there or pack your cooler and bring it along!  From Desert View, it is on to the Grand Canyon Village area.  Relax and view the canyon at Bright Angel Lodge or join us for a quick shuttle bus ride to Trailview Overlook and then a short hike along the rim to the “secret fossil beds”, just yards away from Bright Angel Lodge.  These fossil beds are easily missed by most tourists – kids love them!  A stop at the IMAX Grand Canyon completes our Grand Canyon visit

Cost:  $85 per person – Includes Park entrance fee   ****Family special:  3 tickets for $245  4 tickets for   $325

Only 55 seats available!  Catch the bus at one of two locations: Anthem Outlet Mall or Flagstaff

Anthem Outlet Mall:  6:15 AM –  Park in the sothwest corner of the west parking lot at the Outlets (Bus Departs 6:30 AM - sooner if all arrive)    Return 7:30 – 8:00 PM.

Flagstaff:    8:15 AM – Target Parking Lot   (Bus departs by 8:30 AM - sooner if everyone there). Return about 5:30-6:00 PM.
